Chicago-North Romance Writers of America® is an incorporated chapter of Romance Writers of America®.
Our mission is to promote excellence in romantic fiction and advance the professional interests of career-focused romance writers through networking and advocacy, dissemination of information, professional education, publications, and other appropriate activities, and to provide continuing support for writers within the romance publishing industry.
We meet at the Des Plaines Public Library on the second Monday of the month from 6:30 - 9:00 pm for group critiques.
The last Monday of the month we meet at the Arlington Heights Historical Society for our program night (7:00 to 10:00 pm).
Please note that meeting dates are subject to change due to holidays.
Guests are free to attend two meetings without obligation to join the group. Most new members join at a meeting, where they will receive a welcoming packet from our committee chair.
